Four astronauts hope that Friday will be the day they will go to the International Space Station.
They were all ready to go on Wednesday after placing them on their spaces and climbed SpaceX spacecraft over the Falcon 9 missile at the Kennedy Space Center in NASA in Florida. But with less than 45 minutes remaining the countdown, Spacex canceled the launch. The task control units were unable to solve a hydraulic problem with the clamp arm that carries the missile before launching it.
The weather along the launch track appeared on Thursday, so Friday is the next opportunity to get out of the ground.
The Friday trip is a routine rotation of the crew at the space station, but it is receiving additional attention because it will finally allow to return to the Earth from Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, the NASA astronauts whose short visit to the space station last June to more than nine months (at least two days after the airline on Wednesday).
Below is another information about the task, which is called Crew-10 because it is the tenth task by Crew Ferrying to and from the space station.
When is the launch and how can I see it?
The four astronauts – two NASA, one from Japan and one from Russia – are scheduled to be launched at 7:03 pm East time.
