French President Emmanuel Macron has inaugurated the Saint-Denis Olympic Aquatic Center on the outskirts of Paris, which will host the synchronized swimming, diving and water polo events at the 2024 Olympic Games (July 26-August 11).
The opening was followed by a diving competition where three French champions took to the water to demonstrate their skills. Two of the three completed the dive successfully but the third did so… got wet.

27-year-old Frenchman Alexis Jandart started to dive, but fell backwards into the water! The diver took part in the 2020 Olympics, and after the somersault he said: “I left my DNA and still have a piece of my back on the board.
I'm fine. It was an unfortunate moment. I only have a few scratches and I'm back to training tomorrow. The Frenchman is preparing to compete in the Olympics.
