The Greek Federation of Teachers is holding a nationwide 24-hour strike on October 23 in all schools and will gather in Athens at 12:00 in the Propylaea. Similar meetings will be held throughout Greece.

They express their opposition to the collapse of the departments, with 15 students per department for Kindergarten and 20 students for grades 1 – 2, with the aim of ending disciplinary procedures against teachers and finally “funding the schools”.
